Anthony W. Cosgrove

Anthony is an Associate in the firm and is based in its Cranberry office. His primary practice areas involve the representation of public sector clients and private entities in municipal law and a variety of real estate matters, with an emphasis in land use and development. He represents various townships, municipal authorities, and zoning hearing boards throughout the Pittsburgh and Butler County area and has considerable experience with issues concerning zoning, land use regulations, TIF & NID Districts, the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, and public meeting requirements.

 

Anthony earned a B.S. in Finance in addition to a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016 and earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2019. During law school, Anthony served as a Managing Editor of the Journal of Law Commerce and had the privilege of serving as a judicial intern for the Honorable Thomas M. Hardiman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. 

 

Anthony is a member of the Butler County Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors. He is admitted to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.  

 

In addition to practicing law, Anthony enjoys playing tennis, attending Pitt sporting events, and spending time with his family. He enjoys volunteering in his local community and is a member of the Knights of Columbus of St. Kilian Parish in Cranberry.
